The thing I love about blazers is that it can make a outfit look casual or smart. I've gone for a casual look with this, and I'll most likely do another blog post where I will create a smart and formal look (i.e. an interview outfit). I love this blazer, the detail in the sleeve with the contrast lace floral design lifts this outfit away from blocking. For this look, a minimally subtle stretch of pattern is enough to achieve the lift. It looks great when thrown over any crop top, and I have chosen this half mesh crop which I bought last summer, it's still a favourite of mine. Something I particularly like about this blazer is the relaxed collar which allows the flexibility between formal and casual and well in with current trends. A pair of ripped jeans is an essential for a casual chic look. I've teamed it with my favourite chunky boots, a side bag and a hat to complete the look. This blazer is part of a set with a pair of shorts to match, perfect for a night out and a definite consideration for your New Years outfit!!

One thing I look forward to every winter is layering up the knitwear. This dress is a winter favourite and an essential. This is perfect to be in with this seasons trend of knitted turtle neck pull overs. Grey and black are my winter colours, so with this dress being my main focus, everything else has to be black. First of all, I am so excited I now have these beautiful over the knee boots that I have wanted for so long. Not only are they pretty cosy for winter but they just add a bit of class to each outfit. Of course, no winter outfit is really complete without a scarf of some sort, and that's because it's too cold without! But I am in love with this throw over, keeps me nice and cosy and goes with this look so well. Keeping it classy by adding my favourite hat of the summer and making it winter, and lastly a big black bag.

Red Glamour

It's been a while since I've glammed up but what better way than to do it with this beautiful red midi dress from AX Paris. This little number is certainly a show stopper. I'm in love with it's simplistic detail of the gold lined plunge front which I've matched with a gold lined clutch. This dress is super tight and hugs your curves in all the right places. holding in and showing off your figure.

My look is 1920's glam inspired with a pair of nude heels, smokey brown eyes, thick eye liner, a bit of red lippy and loose curls to finish it off. Definitely a dress to consider for the big new yearsssss.

90s Amurrrrca

When I was a baba, I lived in Seattle with my parents. I've been flicking through baby photo's recently and had fallen in love with how the style was over there back then, so I have taken these two pieces from Hype's recent collections and reworked using 90s Seattle America as my inspiration. 

The first tee from the 'Fats Food' collection takes an inspiration from Jeremy Scott's fast food inspired collection for AW14 and it is at the heart of American culture. I styled this going by a few photo's I found of my mum with the high waisted ripped jeans which have come back as a trend. This tee is oversized and can be worn alternatively as a dress, like I did when I did a shoot for the Fats Food collection. My second look is based around this crystal print jumper which again is oversized and can be worn as a long jumper rather than tucked in to denim like myself. These wonderful shorts have been a big part of my life these past few years, and they fit perfectly well with the look I was going for as they come straight from my mums 90s wardrobe. Keeping with the American style, I have styled both outfits with a cute little back pack and some grubby platform converse.

I'm so in love with the chilled bohemian look and I'm so glad I have found Pass The Salt Clothing. This beautifully crafted beaded cardigan is one of many beaded garments in PTS's current collection. I have ever really worn anything beaded before but upon looking at their collection and experimenting with my own styling I have fallen in love with the light this catches, and how intricate and delicate it looks, giving such a striking look. This cardigan allows you to be able to wear you're favourite crop top/bralet and it still being seen, so I've chosen my favourite mesh bra. Letting my inner bohemian out I have worn a maxi skirt (I'm so in love with maxi skirt, I have loads, fave summer item) to keep it relaxed and a few necklaces I have picked up on my travels. And of course, a look like this would not be complete without a headpiece, so it had to be my luna blue topaz from a previous blog post because its just a stunning piece to wear.

This bondage bra is foreals a new essential to my wardrobe as it's multi functional. I can wear it as a bra under my clothes and my boobs don't actually feel trapped like a normal bra would do. No wiring. No padding. It's literally maximum comfort, and highly recommend cause it's the only bra that's not padded that makes me look like i have some form of tits. It is literally a dream. Also, it's cool enough to wear as a crop top, as I have once worn this on a night out for my boyfriends birthday, no questions. This bra makes me very happy. I have paired it with these leather shorts because they're cool and make me look like a female boxer or something. Worth the buys guys!

3 ways to wear the Gaia

Hello guys! This is something a bit different but Motel had challenged me to the '3 ways to wear' challenge with their super cute Gaia dress. Firstly, I love this dress to pieces and it's making me wish it was summer again. 

My first look was my initial reaction to the dress. The whole festival free spirit vibe just takes me right back to my summer, which was amazing (I'm sad now). I have chosen one of my favourite pieces from summer to go with, this beautiful cobalt blue kimono simply because it adds colour to the outfit and its free flowing. And obviously I added my little dream catcher necklace to complete.

My second outfit is more 'let's go for coffee/shopping' with the coat and without it's 'lets party' rather than 'lets get trippy' like above. I thought this dress has a really sweet look to it. Wack a pair of big chunky boots immediately creates an elongated effect, this dress is really good if you want to look leggy. Going along with trying to give the illusion that I'm a giant (I'm 5ft5), i chose my favourite fluffy cobalt blue (I have just realised that perhaps cobalt blue may be my favourite colour) duster coat. To top the look off, this hat just makes the outfit super cute.

Lastly, I went for a badass biker look. This dress has adjustable straps, so I tightened them and it made a really nice tunic. Naturally, I put on a pair of ripped jeans, and added the boots, and the leather jacket, and then the round glasses, and before I knew it, I've created this biker look.

Challenge complete.

When it comes to jewelry, I personally think less is more. This stunningly simple piece of jewelry by Julia Cameron is a perfect example of how. 

I think what makes it so beautiful is the delicate and simplistic detail of this piece. This piece has two strands of gold plated silver chain with a hand cut gem stone and a little star suspended. My favourite feature about this piece in particular is that it can be worn in three ways, a bracelet, a necklace, and my preferred style as a head piece. For something so simple, it has a lot to offer. Wearing it as a necklace, the simple pendant style can really accentuate the collar bones, perfect for an elegant black dress. When wearing it as a bracelet, the chain can wrap around the wrist a few times which creates this intricate look of overlapping gold chain leaving the gem and star to hang down the fore front of the hand. Lastly, as a headpiece, the gem sits beautifully in between the eyes and enhances their beauty.

Julia Cameron's life was well spent travelling and I think her bohemian style influences largely through her headpieces, especially when wearing this as a head piece. Aside from being inspired by her travels, it is apparent that her pieces are also 1920's inspired.

ALL EYEZ ON ME

Now this is a brand that feels close to home in so many ways. This Is A Love Song is produced in my home Indonesia (beautiful place, recommend it as a travel destination), and if you love the Crazy Sexy Cool era of TLC, TIALS clothes are inspired by this era with their own modern spin, and this is a style that I fully throw my hands up too... take a look for yourself, it's pretty cool!

This 'ALL EYEZ ON ME' dress is many things in one. Its loosely fitted cut produces an elegant line to the body, maintaining a sporty look keeping it fresh and casual. The front design is my absolute favourite, if you have ever been to Bali, a barong head printed on this dress is everywhere and personally I feel it adds character to the dress, giving it the element of crazy. I must point out the back print represents the brand so cool and effortlessly featuring the TIALS with '10' representing when TIALS was established. Apart from the barong print, my other favourite feature of the dress is the two side slits keeping it sexy. There you go, the dress is crazy, sexy and cool!!!

I have styled this with my platform converse to keep with the sporty basketball theme, and obviously a pair of round black shades.
